Because it’s not you 

After hearing about Christian Taylor, I read this and thought a lot, but also circle back to the same old thought, why doesn’t this matter more. I know why, but the question is so simple. The problem is so simple. It’s the answer that we avoid. How much we hate complexity. It’s sickening. Black lives matter. We continue to try and convince. We shouldn’t have to convince. We are not a society that values life.  At least not collectively. Only our own.
